Senior Care Dallas provides many Home Care Services to Seniors that live in the Dallas Area. The services we provide care in the comfort of your home. We offer an alternative to care to Senior that don't want to leave home.

OUR SERVICES are both on an hourly and live-in basis.
Caregivers come to the client's home, assisted living, retirement, or hospital.
We develop an individualized care plan to meet specific needs. Caregivers are responsible to assess needs as well. Many times a client who received an initial evaluation may have additional needs
Housekeeping, bathing, grooming, meals, transportation, monitoring medications, errand, incontinent care, transferring, and mobility assistance.
Services Description
1. In-Home Assessment of Need - Free consultation
The first service begins with an in-home consultation of need-this to determine the need for assistance and what actual services we will provide. Our assessment involves paperwork, demographics, and plan of care. This service is helpful to the senior and the family as it may raise needs they did not realize we can fulfill (for example, transportation to dr. appointments may not have been an issue when the client called to obtain service, but after the assessment, the client may realize this service can relieve a family member from this task.)
2. Caregiver
The leading service we provide is genuine care by a trained professional in-home care assistant.
All our services are listed below are included in the price of care. Our services include:
A. Light housekeeping
Light housekeeping is as day to day picking up newspapers, washing dishes, spot cleaning, running the vacuum in main living areas, making the bed, and wiping down kitchen and bathroom. All services that require day to day necessary cleaning.
B. Assistance with Bathing and Grooming
Bathing and grooming involve: providing assistance with a bath or shower, washing the client's hair, applying lotion, shaving, makeup, brushing and styling the hair, help with brushing teeth, washing dentures, putting on clothes.
C. Laundry
Laundry for the client. Washing and drying clothes, washing, and changing bed linen. Ironing will not be included in this service if the client lives with another person (their laundry is not included. If a client lives with another additional senior charge may apply for his or her laundry.
D. Meal planning and preparation
Meal planning will be done with the client or family member to ensure the foods to be prepared are desired. The caregiver will be informed of any food allergy, special diet, religious restrictions, swallowing problems before the first day of care. Meal planning may also involve preparing a grocery list and going to the store to purchase the food. Preparation of the food may include light meals for dinner meals. We always inform the client that meal preparation may be limited to the caregivers cooking ability. During the initial assessment, the need for meal preparation will be discussed. A caregiver who can meet this need will be assigned.
E. Mobility assistance
We will assist with walking (stand by assistance )to all unsteady clients with a cane or walker. Mobility assistance may also involve transferring a client who is in a wheelchair. Transferring may be done from bed to chair and back and from the toilet to chair and back, bath, shower to chair and back or car to chair and back. The client must be able to bear weight to assist with transferring. We will not provide a full lift unless special equipment is provided to keep the caregiver from injuring him or herself.
F. Incontinent care
Incontinent care/ toilet
The toilet includes assistance to the bathroom, help with cleaning. Incontinent care may also include changing adult pads, cleaning the soiled area, and re-apply adult pads/undergarments.
G. Transportation
Transportation provided may be in either the client's vehicle or the caregiver's vehicle. All caregivers that provide transportation will be fully insured and licensed if the client prefers to use his/her car. We must obtain proof of full coverage insurance from the client and a release form. Transportation in the caregiver's vehicle may require an additional charge to cover gas expenses and wear to the caregiver's car. When in the caregiver's vehicle, any place within a five-mile radius is part of the service cost. Any transportation over five miles will require an additional flat transportation fee - for each day. This fee will be included in the clients weekly billing and then will be passed on directly to the caregiver in his/ her paycheck. for
H. Monitoring Medications
The caregiver will monitor the client's medications if this service is needed. All prescriptions must be listed and prepared by a family member or home health care nurse, or the client's doctor must obtain a full list. The caregiver can not administer medications to any client. The caregiver can only remind the client that medications need to be taken and observe and assist the client in reading medication bottles or lists.
I. Companionship
The caregiver will provide companionship paying close attention to the client's interests. Companionship may include reading aloud, playing games, talking with clients, shopping, going out to a restaurant, accompanying the client to social events, senior centers, and gardening.
